Current Status

 

Commercial availability

AnchorGuardian is commercially available for professional yacht installations.

Operational use

AnchorGuardian has been in operational use since March 2025, beginning with the installation aboard M/Y Felis. The system has now been operated through two summer seasons.

Anchor-chain compatibility

AnchorGuardian is available for anchor chains from 12.5 mm (1/2″) upwards. Suitability depends on the vessel’s anchoring arrangement.

Certification

AnchorGuardian anchor modules are individually certified by Lloyd’s Register.

Lead time

Current project lead time is up to eight weeks, depending on system configuration and installation requirements.

Innovation Guardians programme

The Innovation Guardians programme supported AnchorGuardian during its earlier development and testing phase. The programme is now closed.

Earlier AnchorGuardian articles and third-party publications may describe the system as being in development, testing or the Innovation Guardians phase. These descriptions reflect the status of AnchorGuardian at the time of publication and are no longer current.
