Our Role in Your Installation

Every captain and shipyard has their own way of working — and we respect that. If you already have a refit process in place, we fit into it. If you would like us to take a more active coordinating role between your shipyard team, hardware specialists, and our engineers, we can do that too. We are available at whatever level of involvement is most useful to you, from a single point of contact managing the entire process to simply showing up at the right moment and getting the job done.

We treat every installation as a managed engineering project, not a product delivery. From the initial technical assessment of your vessel’s hawse pipe and anchor pocket through to final deployment, we handle the coordination so you don’t have to. The result is a system that is Class Certified and ready for immediate use — with minimal disruption to your vessel’s schedule.

This area refers to the final technical validation of the system once the hardware is installed.

Context: It involves the calibration of the sensor fusion technology and the testing of the hull-mounted transducer communication.
Focus: Achieving the “sub-meter accuracy” and “fail-safe alarm” standards that the brand promises. It often concludes with a formal handover to the captain.

This refers to the synchronization between AnchorGuardian’s engineers and the shipyard or refit team.

Context: Because the boat transducer must be installed during drydock (through-hull mounting), AnchorGuardian coordinates with the yard’s structural team and electricians.
Focus: Ensuring the charging coils and NMEA2000 software integrations are aligned with the vessel’s existing bridge electronics (ECDIS/Plotters).
